How to Cater a Women’s Luncheon

I’m lucky enough to work in an industry where women know their place and are thankful for all the opportunities afforded to them by the handsy dudes on the top floor.

I am fortunate enough to work for a company who respects and supports women in the work place. You guys, we have one lady SVP and two ancient biddies on the board!

As a treat the women in my company were invited to a luncheon where we were treated to tales of success from octogenarians (hint: nepotism and free and easy access to the bits while you’re still tight).

The real star of the show was the spread. I know that when planning events for women food can be a touchy subject (and not just because millennial are allergic to everything) and as times change cucumber sandwiches have fallen out of style so what are you supposed to serve to a bunch of women starving for success?

As a working woman I often crowdsource ideas for more socially obvious decisions (I’m a woman, how can I know my own mind?) so I want to share this spectacular luncheon menu with you. You may use it in part or in whole.
